Super Sorter Robotics Competition

April 11, 2026
Created and Hosted by EcoRobotik Foundation

Super Sorter is EcoRobotik’s fifth robotics competition, designed to challenge students to engineer automated sorting systems that simulate real-world recycling processes.

Through this engineering challenge, students design and program robots to sort items representing aluminum, plastic, paper, and general waste — combining robotics, logic programming, mechanical design, and environmental awareness.

Engineering for Sustainability

Modern waste management systems rely on automation and intelligent sorting technologies. Super Sorter introduces students to these real-world systems by requiring them to design robots capable of identifying and sorting materials efficiently and accurately.

Participants explore:

• Automation and mechanical systems
• Sensor integration
• Programming logic
• Efficiency optimization
• Environmental engineering concepts

The competition promotes innovation while reinforcing responsibility toward sustainability and recycling.
